Ecolab Digital Center and SMC Squared joined forces to raise funds in support of the local community in India. The country crossed the 350,000 mark of new single-day Covid-19 cases, the highest number of daily cases in the world since the beginning of the pandemic. As a result of the significant increase of daily cases, India is experiencing a shortage of equipment to help COVID-19 patients breathe.
Together we raised and donated over $13,000 to help provide medical equipment to charitable hospitals and COVID Care Centers in partnership with GiveIndia and Doctors For You.
“We’re proud to be able to do our bit to help the current crisis,” says CEO and Co-Founder Dr. Patricia Connolly
We are committed to giving back regularly to our communities globally and locally. Over the last several years, SMC has donated funds to various India-based initiatives, providing clean water for schools, supporting work skills development, and assisting women who have been trafficked, among other initiatives.
“It’s about impacting people in our communities where it matters most,” says Connolly.
